Verification tells you exactly what MCC has checked about a coach — no more, and no less.
The four verification types
Motorsport Coach Connect has completed its identity verification process for this coach.
It does not mean MCC has verified coaching qualifications, motorsport experience, professional affiliations, insurance or coaching ability.
Motorsport Coach Connect has reviewed evidence relating to specified motorsport or coaching experience displayed on this profile.
It applies only to the experience specifically identified as verified. It does not mean every career claim on this profile has been independently verified.
Motorsport Coach Connect has reviewed evidence relating to the specific qualification displayed on this coach's profile.
MCC has reviewed evidence of a qualification issued by another organisation. MCC does not issue, certify or accredit the qualification itself.
Motorsport Coach Connect has checked evidence relating to the stated professional affiliation.
It applies only to the affiliation identified as verified, and does not imply the organisation endorses this coach through MCC.
What verification does not mean
Verification relates only to the information specifically identified as verified. It does not constitute an endorsement, a guarantee of coaching performance, or a guarantee that the coach is suitable for every driver.
Coaches listed on Motorsport Coach Connect are independent professionals. MCC does not employ, certify, accredit, recommend or supervise them, does not issue coaching qualifications or licences, and does not guarantee a coach's services, performance, suitability, insurance or results.
Verification is carried out manually by MCC administrators. It can never be purchased, and it does not depend on a coach's membership plan, subscription status or the amount they pay. A Standard coach can hold exactly the same verification as a Founding Coach.
Coaches without a formal qualification
Where a coach lists no formal coaching qualification, their profile simply shows “No formal coaching qualification listed”.
This does not necessarily reflect the coach's level of motorsport or coaching experience. Review the coach's experience and verification information when deciding whether they are suitable for your requirements.
Founding Coach is not a verification
The Founding Coach badge means a coach was selected for the MCC Founding Coach programme when the marketplace launched. It is not an identity, experience, qualification or affiliation verification, and it does not mean MCC certifies that coach.
Making your decision
Drivers should review a coach's profile, experience, qualifications, verification information and services and make their own decision about whether a coach is appropriate for their requirements.
Where relevant, confirm directly with the coach matters such as coaching scope, experience, qualifications, insurance, availability, pricing and any venue or event requirements.
Keeping verification current
- Where a qualification has an expiry date, it stops being displayed as currently verified once that date passes and is shown as expired instead.
- If a coach materially changes information behind a verified claim, the verification is removed and the record returns to pending review.
- Verification can be revoked by MCC where that is justified, and every change is recorded internally.
